Labels are the filtering functionality in Beekeeper. They allow users to categorize posts and then easily go back and search for all posts tagged with a particular label.
Users can either use existing labels by starting to type a label name, then selecting one of the labels that are suggested, or they can create a new label by typing a new label name.
If you wish, you can filter for posts associated with a particular label, or hashtag. This can be done in one of two ways:
Filtering From A Specific Post
If you see a post you like and wish to view more content like it, you can click on the relevant label assigned to that post (if there is one). This will filter your view to display only posts assigned that label. To remove the filter, press the back arrow in the top right corner.
Adding Labels to the Top of a Stream for Easy Filtering
You're able to add useful labels to the top of a stream. This will allow users to click one of the labels at the top of the stream to filter their view.
In the web app, go to the Dashboard and click on 'Streams', then select the stream that you'd like to add labels to. At the bottom of the page, input the labels that you would like to include, separated by a comma.
The labels will then appear at the top of the stream:
