Embedding live video in streams

Live streams can be viewed from within a Post in Beekeeper. Once the live stream is configured in your third-party live stream platform, you can simply insert the link into a post, enabling your colleagues to watch the live stream directly within the Beekeeper Stream. (This is currently only available in the web app, not on mobile).

The following list shows examples of the live streaming platforms that are supported:

• Livestream
• YouTube
• Ustream
• Vimeo
• Facebook
• X (formerly Twitter)
• Instagram
• Microsoft Stream
• Microsoft Teams

If you’re using a platform that isn’t listed here, please reach out to Support to find out whether it is supported.

Please note: For the live stream video to display in the preview, it must be publicly accessible. For example, in YouTube, the live stream must be set to either ‘public’, or ‘unlisted’.
