No chat is ever deleted. They stay in the inbox or archive forever. The only way a chat can disappear for a user is if it's a group chat and the user is removed from it or leaves it, but even then the chat still exists for the other members of the group chat.
To organise your inbox and create greater visibility of important chat messages, use the Archiving Chats function.
Users can however delete their own chat messages both in the web app and on mobile.
-
The ability to delete messages is activated by default, however customers (global admins) may request deactivating this function for all users. The requests should be directed to Beekeeper Support.
-
The feature is effective only for users' own messages. In other words, no one (not even global admins) can delete other people’s messages.
-
After a message is deleted, it is gone from within the app, but if a CDR form (Customer Data Request) is filed, Beekeeper can still manually recover that message within 30 days. After that period, the message is irreversibly lost.
