When troubleshooting an issue, setting up integrations, or contacting the Beekeeper Support team, you may be asked to provide specific Identifiers (IDs). These IDs help our team pinpoint the exact user, chat, stream, task, or workflow you are referring to, ensuring a much faster resolution.
💡 Important Note: Most of these identifiers can only be found in the Web App (browser version) of Beekeeper. The URL bar in your browser contains the specific IDs necessary to share with the Support team.
Types of Beekeeper Identifiers
1. UUID (Unique User ID)
What it is: A unique, hexadecimal code that constitutes your specific user ID within the Beekeeper platform.
When to use it: This is the primary identifier the Support team uses to locate your profile and investigate user-specific issues or permissions.
2. Workflow ID
What it is: A unique ID that traces directly back to a specific automated workflow setup.
When to use it: Share this ID if an automated workflow isn't triggering correctly or if you need assistance configuring it.

3. Task ID
What it is: Every single Task created within Beekeeper is assigned its own distinct ID, found in the URL section when opening the Task.
-
When to use it: If a specific task is glitching, failing to update, or displaying incorrect information, share the Task ID with Support for a targeted investigation.
4. Stream ID
What it is: Each Stream has a unique numerical value associated with it. You can find this in the URL when going into the Stream's properties via the Admin Dashboard section of Streams.
When to use it: Many Streams across an organization can have similar or identical display names. To avoid confusion, it is highly recommended to share the Stream ID rather than the full Stream name when requesting help or making changes.
5. Chat ID
What it is: Every chat (including both 1-on-1 chats and Group chats) is identifiable by its Chat ID. This appears as a long string of hexadecimal code.
Where to find it: Open the chat in the web browser version of Beekeeper and look at the URL bar; the long string at the end of the web address is your Chat ID.
6. Form ID
What it is: Each Form has a unique numerical value associated with it, You can find this in the URL when going into t the Admin Dashboard section of Forms.
When to use it: Many Forms across an organization can have similar or identical display names. To avoid confusion, it is highly recommended to share the Form ID rather than the full Form name when requesting help or making changes. Form ID is also very helpful when analysing issues with workflows.
How to Locate IDs in Your Browser URL
Because Beekeeper IDs are embedded into the system architecture, the easiest way to grab them is from your browser's address bar.
Log into the Beekeeper Web App via your browser.
Navigate to the specific feature you need (e.g., click into the specific Chat, Stream, or Task).
Look at the URL bar at the top of your browser. The ID will be the string of numbers or hexadecimal characters at the very end of the web address.
Copy the entire URL or just the ID code and paste it into your support ticket.
