Dynamic Forms allow the creation of smarter forms that adapt based on how people respond. With just a few clicks, questions can be shown depending on previous answers—making forms faster to fill out and more relevant for each user.
Adding Conditional Logic
-
Open the Form Editor and add a Single Select or Dropdown question. Note: Conditional logic can only be applied to those two question types.
Example: “Do you need accommodation?” - Click the Logic Icon next to the question
-
In the logic builder, add a rule:
- Define your condition: e.g., If answer is “Yes”
- Choose an action: Then show e.g. “Please specify your requirements”
- Save your logic. You can add multiple conditions and multiple outcomes for the same question.
- Use Preview to test how the form behaves for different responses.
See Conditional Logic in Action
- A badge labeled “Logic applied” appears on questions where logic is active
- You can click this badge to quickly jump to or edit the logic setup
- A summary screen shows all your conditions in one place
-
Hidden fields based on logic won’t be shown in:
- Submission exports
- PDF created through Workflows
- Submission views
