This article will help you to add RSS Feeds (for example Twitter) to the streams that you are managing. Just follow the steps below.
Step 1
Go to the Dashboard and click on Streams. Then select the desired stream to configure RSS and select the tab Integrations. In the example below, the stream World & UK was selected.
Step 2
The RSS Feed configuration starts by clicking the RSS Feed button and it will ask for a URL for the RSS feed. Here it is assumed that you know in advance the RSS feed URL from the service that you want to integrate with beekeeper.
In addition, there are two more options:
- Only import the article summary with a link to the article: if enabled, links included in the post will be active.
- All content goes to the moderation inbox: if activated sends the messages to the moderation inbox to wait for publication authorization from the moderator.
For the purpose of this example a BBC service is selected, then the RSS URL is introduced and default options are selected.
Click the Save button and the BBC account will be integrated in the stream as shown below.
As a result the post of this BBC account will be streamed into the stream and will be refreshed every 15 minutes.
Finally, save the configuration and your stream is ready to receive the content from your favourite data RSS sources.
