Integration Summary
This integration enables you to share content between Slack and Beekeeper in two ways. You can share announcements in Slack to a Beekeeper Stream of your choice and automatically collect submissions to a Beekeeper Form in a Slack channel of your choice.
Sharing Announcements from Slack to Beekeeper
- In Slack, hover over the post you wish to share and select Share to Beekeeper from the menu of actions.
- Enter a title for the post and select the Beekeeper Stream you wish to post to.
- Click Submit and Slack will confirm that the post was successful.
Once a post has been shared with Beekeeper, frontline employees can engage with the content using the full suite of features Beekeeper provides, like inline translations, comments, and likes. Comments on the shared post in Beekeeper also are mirrored in Slack, even if the employee doesn't have a Slack license.
Engagement through Beekeeper can be viewed by a Slack user without leaving the platform through comment parity. Likewise, any comments made on a message in Slack that has been shared with Beekeeper will be mirrored in Beekeeper.
Sharing Form Submissions from Beekeeper to Slack
After configuring the integration for form submissions (for instructions, please see the Slack Integration Installation Guide), simply share the form in Beekeeper, for example in a post or in Shortcuts. Form submissions will automatically be sent to the Slack channel you connected in the integration configuration.
