If you have a certain percentage of employees who do not have a smart device or if you simply want to broadcast important information in common spaces, the Beekeeper Digital Signage is a perfect feature to implement to ensure everyone is able to access your company’s news and updates.
What is Digital Signage?
Digital Signage allows you to easily import posts from the streams in Beekeeper into a slideshow which can be broadcast over any TV monitor via a Chromebox. You can instantly update content across various locations and remotely manage all devices within the Dashboard of Beekeeper.
How Does Digital Signage Work?
Within the Beekeeper app, you can design your own slideshows by selecting a custom series of posts or by choosing one stream in particular to display. These slideshows can then be broadcast as Digital Signage across your organization on any tv monitor via a Chromebox. The URLs generated by the BKPR slideshow are so-called "pre-authenticated" URLs and should be kept secret. This is to enable Digital Signage without the need to log into Beekeeper on the digital signage devices.
In this article you can find out more about slideshows.
How do I Turn on Digital Signage?
If you do not currently have the slideshow feature in your Beekeeper Dashboard, click here to request a free demo. Once you’ve signed up for the feature, a Beekeeper representative will enable the settings for you.
Note: This feature is turned off by default. Incorrect usage of this feature may lead to data leaking, as the URL for Slideshows must only be shared with monitored devices in managed locations to prevent unauthorized viewers. Please contact Support or your CSM for more information.
