WinSCP is a free FTP client for Windows.
When you open the application, a Login prompt will open where you can fill in your credentials, as shown below. Then click the Login button.
When you’ve been successfully logged in, you’ll see two panes. The left is your local machine. To upload a file, drag a file from the left pane to the right (remote) pane.
The upload will start immediately and you will be notified if there are any problems via a popup. Once the transfer is complete, you can check the import page in the admin dashboard for updates.
Troubleshooting
If you notice that WinSCP is returning errors after syncing, it may be that the application is trying to set permissions or timestamps, which our SFTP server does not support. This is the default setting for WinSCP. You can change the settings by going to: Preferences > Transfer > Default Preset > Edit... > Common Options and uncheck Preserve Timestamp.
WinSCP may occasionally be disconnected from long-running connections (see the error screen below). This is expected behavior. It will automatically reconnect after a few seconds (or you can click the Reconnect button to refresh the connection).
