Setting up FileZilla

Filezilla is a free FTP client for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.

When you open the application, you’ll see a Quickconnect bar at the top. Type your credentials in that bar, as shown below.

Note: the Host field should be sftp://ftp-sync.beekeeper.io

Click the Quickconnect button and you should see a console log indicating a connection has successfully been made.

From here, navigate to your file on your local machine (in the left window). When you’ve found it, double click the file. This will start the transfer. Once the transfer is complete, you can check the import page in the admin dashboard for updates.

Troubleshooting

You may notice that the connection is disconnected after your transfer finishes. Sample logs below:

Error: Server unexpectedly closed network connection

Status: Disconnected from server

This is expected. If you need to transfer an additional file, you can double-click on another local file and FileZilla will automatically reconnect for you and start the transfer.
