Experience a dynamic and expressive way to communicate within Beekeeper by utilizing emoji reactions. They allow you to swiftly and effectively convey your response, fostering a lively and engaging atmosphere. 

Within Streams, you'll find a fixed selection of diverse emojis designed to cater to an array of interactions. Whether you're expressing:

• approval with a 👍 'Like', 
• admiration with 🤩 'Amazing', 
• celebrating achievements with 🎉 'Celebrate', 
• showing gratitude with 🙏 'Thank You', 
• acknowledging efforts with 👏 'Well Done', 
• or providing support 🫶 'Support', 

Our emojis are here to enrich your communication experience and bring a touch of personality to every exchange.

Beneath every post, observe the emoji reactions and the collective count of interactions. By tapping on the reaction totals, you unveil a roster of participants who engaged (removed users won’t be visible).

Do you want to use more Emojis?

If you like to use emojis when adding a post or chatting with your coworkers and you’re using the web app, you can use a keyboard shortcut or add an emoji extension to the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser. 

Emoji Picker Keyboard Shortcut

Place your cursor in the text box and then use one of the below keyboard shortcuts to bring up the Emoji picker:

Mac: control + command (⌘) + space

Windows 10: Win + .  or  Win + ;

Downloading An Emoji Browser Extension

If you don't have a Mac or Windows 10, you can download an Emoji browser extension.

We recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as a browser, as they are both high performing browsers compared to others such as Safari. We are not supporting Internet Explorer any more. If you are not currently using either of the last mentioned browsers, you can make the switch by downloading them from your existing browser. Simply google “download Google Chrome,” for example, and follow the steps.

Open Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and google “emoji extension Google Chrome” or “emoji extension Mozilla Firefox:

Using Emojis On The Web App

1. Click the extension button
2. Select the desired emoji
3. Click “Copy”
4. Click back into your message box and paste the emoji into your note
5. Send your message
