Disabling Commenting

We strongly advise organizations to allow commenting as this gives employees the possibility to provide feedback or express feelings on certain topics. Giving employees a voice boosts engagement through the app.

Commenting on posts can however be disabled for each post individually or for all posts by default.

Disable commenting for one post:

1. Go to the Web App and scroll to the post you want to control
2. Click on the three dots on the top right of the post
3. Choose Disable commenting

The post will now show a small lock icon. No user will be able to comment on this post.

Disable commenting for all posts by default:

1. Go to the Streams tab in Dashboard.
2. Select the stream you want to control
3. In the General tab, navigate to the Default Comment Permission section
4. Choose Disable commenting
5. Hit the Save button 

Warning: No user will be able to comment on posts in this stream anymore.
